Delete your SideCar account

Account deletion information for SideCar by AMKAI INC

Delete in the app

  1. Open SideCar and sign in.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Review the notice, type DELETE, and confirm.

Request deletion without the app

Email hi@ride-sidecar.com from the email address on your SideCar account with the subject “SideCar account deletion.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What is deleted

We delete your authentication account and personal profile information and remove private account content that is no longer needed. Historical ride records may be de-identified so other users’ transaction records remain accurate.

What may be retained

We may retain limited payment, payout, tax, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute, and legal records for the period required by law or reasonably needed to complete an outstanding transaction or resolve a dispute. If you have an active ride, pending refund, payment, or payout, you may need to complete or cancel it before deletion can finish.
